I had a lovely stay! The river view was stunning and the large grassy area kept my kids amused. I'd DEFINITELY return, though breakfast was a bit disappointing compared to the photos.

Neat room with private bathroom and iron/ironing board, a work desk, and a TV. Unbeatable location in a calm area very close to a shop or cafe for breakfast, highway and shopping centre and Newcastle / Lake Macquarie.

This hotel is a great spot, very quiet, and surrounded by lovely green space. the Gold Spa room overlooking the river was peaceful, and the terrace area was perfect for relaxation. the bed was incredibly comfy, and room service from the adjacent club offered good food at reasonable prices.

We had a great time at Macquarie 4 Star. The creek facing spa room was perfect, avoiding any noise from the attached club. The room was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was convenient and plentiful. I would definitely recommend this venue for a relaxing stay.

Great escape! Amazing view of the river from our balcony. Very comfortable and clean room. Breakfast included. Friendly and helpful staff. Lift for easy access. Nice play area for the kids.

Fragrance in the room was too strong and overwhelming when we arrived. Some noise disturbances at night from other guests slamming doors shut.
